Hacktivism 103: Intermediate Linux Fundamentals

In this Free Skool workshop that builds on the previous Linux Fundamentals class, we are going beyond the basics into some of the things that make Linux/Unix the operating system of choice for geeks for the last 30 years.

Beyond a refresher of Linux fundamentals, we’ll talk about the process queue, package installation, devices, and services.

The class will be taught by a system administrator with three decades of Unix experience, a full time sysadmin with a score of enterprise-class Linux servers under his watchful gaze, an author of two books on Unix, and a person who will be the first to admit that everyday he is still learning and what he doesn’t know about Linux would fill a warehouse.

A dozen people came to the workshop and learned the basics of Linux system administration.
