Actually, I already began earlier when I ran through the Meteor tutorial. And I continued with creating a file structure and testing that. But now, I’m trying in earnest to run some packages I need.
First we’ll copy over our barebones boilerplate.
wmodes$ cp -r barebones-meteor-boilerplate/ jquery-test/
Next we’ll start by installing some needed packages. First jquery and scrollmagic, both easy because there are Meteor packages already prepared.
wmodes$ meteor add jquery jquery: Manipulate the DOM using CSS selectors wmodes$ meteor search scrollmagic Found the following packages: hipstersmoothie:scrollmagic ScrollMagic repackaged for Meteor. To get more information on a specific item, use meteor show wmodes$ meteor add hipstersmoothie:scrollmagic Changes to your project's package version selections: hipstersmoothie:scrollmagic added, version 0.0.1 infinitedg:gsap added, version 1.13.1 hipstersmoothie:scrollmagic: ScrollMagic repackaged for Meteor.
I want to install bigvideo.js for which there is no Meteor package available for it. But we can easily install its dependencies, Video.js, jQuery (already done), jQuery UI and the jQuery imagesloaded plugin.
wmodes$ meteor search videojs Found the following packages: jrudio:videojs A meteor package to for VideoJS mrt:videojs-b3 A smart package that makes it easy to use Video.js natestrauser:videojs A smart package that makes it easy to use Video.js yong:meteor-videojs Video.js 4.10.2 To get more information on a specific item, use meteor show wmodes$ meteor add jrudio:videojs Changes to your project's package version selections: jrudio:videojs added, version 4.11.2 jrudio:videojs: A meteor package to for VideoJS wmodes$ meteor add mrt:jquery-ui mrt:jquery-imagesloaded Changes to your project's package version selections: mrt:jquery-imagesloaded added, version 0.0.2 mrt:jquery-ui added, version 1.9.2 mrt:jquery-ui: jQuery-UI - jQuery user interface mrt:jquery-imagesloaded: jQuery ImagesLoaded plugin repackaged for Meteor
