Times Square by Howard Zinn

A comic adaptation of a Howard Zinn story edited and illustrated by Wes Modes.  Howard Zinn’s personal account of a New York demonstration and police riot in the late 30’s that left him with a life-long radical point-of-view.

One summer day they asked me if I wanted to go with them to “a demonstration” in Times Square that evening. I had never been to such a thing, and I wanted to see times square anyway. I made some excuse to my parents, and a little bunch of us took the subway.
