A discussion, brainstorm, and scheming about creating a local free skool for kids K-12. What would that look like, feel like, and require? How do we raise the next generation in an anarchist community? Requirements: An interest in the welfare of the children in our community, an understanding that curiosity is the most powerful educational force in the world, and a devotion to anarchist principles of mutual support and voluntary, egalitarian relationships.
I was the facilitator of this planning session and discussion. Many parents and future parents at the workshop continued work to create unschooling efforts in the community.
